Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience planning and managing at strategic and operational levels, and synthesizing data into actionable insights.

  • Experience working on complex operational and strategic initiatives.

  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously and drive projects to completion, with effective attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders/partners and influence decision-making, while navigating complex organizational dynamics.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills, with effective business acumen.

About the job

In this role, you will help set the direction of Google's Global Business Organization (GBO) by taking on initiatives that drive customer-centric promotions (e.g., engaged capabilities, promoter planning, scaled go-to-market strategies, and more). You will work with team members across functions and roles to solve critical problems to further our mission of helping our customers grow and build a customer-centric sales organization.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead projects that design, execute, and measure impact of scaled sales enablement strategies.

  • Own hypotheses on key strategic issues and be the main contributor to findings and solutions by partnering with peers to deliver data-driven insights and synthesize recommendations for executive decisions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product) and regions to drive insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and working teams, based on analysis, experience, and technical acumen.

  • Support existing strategic initiatives through ongoing analysis and project management. Identify additional areas of opportunities and develop strategic plans, and mobilize stakeholders to execute and improve customer and promoter satisfaction.
