KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Risk Management Advisory to join our Risk Management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the on-going maintenance and enhancements to our existing risk management processes by working closely with Risk Management (RM) and business leaders, Global Quality and RM teams

  • Participate in periodic compliance activities to help ensure compliance with Firm requirements

  • Assist with the development and testing of new tools to support existing RM activities, including portfolio management and reporting for both US and Regional Leadership

  • Respond to inquiries from RM professionals and business leaders related to RM systems related matters including evaluating and addressing functionality issues, as well as developing periodic and ad hoc reporting; Collaborate, evaluate and recommend various RM approaches to effectively address evolving trends within the Advisory Services portfolio

  • Develop communications and training in support of roll-out of major initiatives and contribute to the continued improvement of Risk Management processes and tools

  • Participate in other Risk Management projects and initiatives including the global quality review program; Liaise with RM counterparts within the Americas region to manage on-going project activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of Risk Management experience with progressive experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

  • Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels within the firm

  • Understanding of the Firm's internal policies and procedures

  • Ability to identify a problem and develop solutions with prior work experience for a professional services firm is preferred and is recognized for a commitment to quality
