KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Risk Management Advisory to join our Risk Management organization.
Assist with the on-going maintenance and enhancements to our existing risk management processes by working closely with Risk Management (RM) and business leaders, Global Quality and RM teams
Participate in periodic compliance activities to help ensure compliance with Firm requirements
Assist with the development and testing of new tools to support existing RM activities, including portfolio management and reporting for both US and Regional Leadership
Respond to inquiries from RM professionals and business leaders related to RM systems related matters including evaluating and addressing functionality issues, as well as developing periodic and ad hoc reporting; Collaborate, evaluate and recommend various RM approaches to effectively address evolving trends within the Advisory Services portfolio
Develop communications and training in support of roll-out of major initiatives and contribute to the continued improvement of Risk Management processes and tools
Participate in other Risk Management projects and initiatives including the global quality review program; Liaise with RM counterparts within the Americas region to manage on-going project activities
Minimum of two years of Risk Management experience with progressive experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels within the firm
Understanding of the Firm's internal policies and procedures
Ability to identify a problem and develop solutions with prior work experience for a professional services firm is preferred and is recognized for a commitment to quality
