Senior Associate, Hedge Fund Accounting

Locations: New York, NY | Hybrid

What You Will Get To Do:

• Detail understanding of GAAP accounting and how it relates to security investments

• Knowledge of basic concepts of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Trail Balance and Investment Position Appraisals

• Understanding the required journal entries to complete daily and monthly tasks for hedge funds

• Some Private Equity experience will be beneficial

• Preparing and reviewing cash and investment position reconciliations

• Preparing and reviewing Net Asset Valuation packages

• Reviewing income allocation calculations for completeness and accuracy

• Dealing with Audit request.

NY: Salary range for the position: 60,000 USD to 120,000 USD. Other States Salary range for the position: 60,000 USD to 120,000 USD.
