KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Risk Strategy & Compliance - Operations & Compliance Risk for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Develop, manage, and support work plans for gap assessments of compliance programs, compliance-related reviews, investigations, and policy and process development
Prepare interview guides and/or conduct interviews of client personnel, analyze and evaluate documents and other information objectively in order to form an observation and provide suitable recommendations, and perform research and gather data, to support conclusions and generate ideas; articulate assumptions and underlying issues
Take ownership and accountability for completing assigned tasks and delivery of quality work product with limited supervision on time, deliver excellent customer service, and invest time to learn the client's business and industry
Demonstrate excellent written and oral capabilities in the delivery of communications, aligning style to a wide variety of client and internal situations, and maintain daily contact with members of internal working group to obtain information and resolve issues and attend working group meetings
Develop self and others by giving and receiving effective feedback; demonstrate a willingness to learn from setbacks, optimize personal interactions and build high value networks, within and outside the Firm, and identify opportunities to provide additional services to the client
Leverage tools, such as MS Access or SQL Server database, to synthesize and analyze information
A minimum of three years of experience with federal and state laws, regulations, and industry guidance applicable to pharmaceutical and medical device compliance programs, such as Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act (FDCA), Anti-Kickback statute and safe harbors, False Claims Act, HHS-OIG compliance program guidance for pharmaceutical manufacturers, FDA guidance, state and federal aggregate spend and drug pricing reporting laws, corporate integrity agreements, and other enforcement actions at the state and federal level
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; Law degree, CPA or CFE is preferred
Experience managing projects on time and budget with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments concurrently and demonstrated project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Travel may exceed fifty percent
