GMA HQPurpose
~ The goal of the Distribution department is to maximize GMA cash flow and profitability via the wholesale of new vehicles. The Sr. Associate, Genesis Distribution Operations performs several daily and weekly functions that enable allocation and wholesale. The Sr. Associate, Genesis Distribution Operations is responsible for assisting in maintaining accuracy in the Vehicle Master System (SAP) as it relates to ordering, allocations, and dealer stocking for all series. This position impacts mission critical business processes that can impact corporate cash flow, dealer relations, and department effectiveness. Accuracy, completeness, and understanding the complexity of linked processes is essential to successfully execute this position. This position must also be able to work independently without extensive supervision on assigned projects.
Major Responsibilities
~ Responsible for overseeing 2~3 vehicle lines through full product life cycle including working with various divisions to obtain necessary information for initial vehicle setup through wholesale release.

~ Ensure accuracy of the Vehicle Master System (SAP) as it pertains to functions such as new model set up, pricing, and production order/control.

~ Perform periodic audits of systems ensuring to proactively communicate system and data errors to HAEA for resolution.

~ Generate and maintain accuracy of GMA's Monroney Labels, Dealer Invoices, and MSOs.

~ Execute GMA strategy through direct communication with GHQ in Korea via weekly communications, data sharing, and ad hoc data analysis.

~ Assist in ad-hoc requests and resolve system issues for field staff.

~ Responsible for generation, maintenance, and update of the department SOPs in coordination with Distribution team members.

~ Assist the Sr. Manager, Genesis Distribution in all aspects of departmental activities.

~ This is a support position, with authority to allocate vehicles, de-commit cars, ship or stop shipment for various business reasons, while receiving general instructions and supervision.
Education
~ Bachelor's degree preferred

Related Experience
~ Four or more years of overall work experience.

~ Preference of at least one year of experience directly related in sales or logistics.
Skills/Knowledge
~ Excellent analytical skills.

~ Proficiency with windows-based software programs; MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

~ Basic understanding of SQL as it related to the formation of QMF queries and database operations.
