Senior Associate General Counsel

POSITION DESCRIPTION Firm Advice is conducting a search for a Senior Associate General Counsel on behalf of a global biotech company HQ in N. VA. This position reports to the General Counsel and will work with business and technical teams to draft and negotiate international commercial agreements, primarily purchase / supply chain agreements.

This position will be the second most-senior position in the legal department and the attorney selected for this role will be groomed for the GC role. REQUIREMENTS JD and license to practice in at least one state in the US. 7 to 15 (preferred) plus years’ experience drafting and negotiating international commercial purchase / supply chain agreements. Experience in the medical supply industry a plus.

Willingness to learn new practice areas preferred. Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced international organization.
