KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Technology Risk - Emerging Technology Risk Services for our Risk Advisory Solutions practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and risk management in areas such as IT strategy, IT program management, Cyber security, Service delivery and operations, Third party management Data management, and DevOps amongst others

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of enterprise cloud environments with knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations

  • Plan and execute client engagements focusing on design and/or review of Cloud infrastructure/platform/software security architecture, design and configuration to help identify improvement opportunities in the areas of process efficiency and security including role-based security, identify and access management based on KPMG's methodology

  • Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks and remediation methods to mitigate risks

  • Ensure successful implementation of Workday by designing, configuring and/or testing the security and business process configuration aspects of Workday solution to meet the specific needs of our customers based on KPMG's methodology for Workday HCM, Financials or Supply Chain implementation projects

  • Stay current with trends in this emerging space and enhance KPMG's existing methodology for Cloud security and controls engagements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in any of the following areas: IT risk management, IT audits, solution architecture and design with emphasis on security, security operations and integration of cloud IAAS/PAAS/SAAS solutions such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and Workday

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university

  • Possess a baseline security certification such as CISM/CISSP/GSEC/CISA/cloud certification for Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP or studying towards attaining the certification

  • Workday Financials and/or HCM certification is preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to travel up to eighty percent

RESPONSIBILITIES * Participate in the evaluation, implementation and deployment of processes & capabilities to advance General Mills' hybrid-cloud strategy. * Work with the larger design team to architect full hybrid-cloud solutions. * Develop and maintain systems management tools to manage hybrid-cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, auditing, de-provisioning using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet and other tools. * Work closely with the Architects and Engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environment that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements. * Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for Infrastructure technologies. * Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services. * Collaboratively lead the transformation of General Mills' Infrastructure, Security, Data & Software engineering & deployment capabilities in preparation for cloud adoption. * Support hybrid-cloud infrastructure including servers, storage, operating systems (Linux &Windows Server), Virtualization (VMWare), Backup/Recovery. * Participate in a cross functional team environment to provide troubleshooting and support around core business applications, including SAP, HANA and Oracle. * Responsibilities include rotating on call support and planned project activities. Candidate will be expected to be able to manage multiple commitments in a dynamic environment. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree required * 5 years of Systems Engineering experience. * Proficient in developing scripts and scripting languages * On-premise Infrastructure Engineering experience – Server, Storage, Linux, Windows, VMWare. * Public cloud Infrastructure engineering experience including cloud security, governance and integration. * Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD concepts and tools. * Proven ability to work cross functionally with global teams. * Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. * The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. * Strong aptitude to learn and passion for problem solving.
