Our Disputes & Investigations team of professionals consists of expert testifiers and consultants who bring an independent point of view, deep financial expertise and the know-how to turn complex issues into clear persuasive testimony for legal counsel and their clients. Services include intellectual property disputes, commercial and shareholder disputes, fraud, forensic and investigative services, M&A purchase price disputes and arbitration, business insurance consulting, bankruptcy litigation, merger trustee services and tax litigation.

As a Senior Associate, you will be coordinating engagements to ensure the end product will support thorough and grounded expert opinions and/or provide quality consulting services to attorneys within established timeframes. Additional duties will include the following:

  • Providing guidance to attorneys on key financial and business issues
  • Obtaining an understanding of the drivers that affect value and creditworthiness of financial assets
  • Developing and/or evaluating damages claims and calculations
  • Creating financial models, cash flow analysis, completing business related valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client company or transaction
  • Drafting of internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports


  • Proven experience supporting expert opinions and/or providing financial analytical services to attorneys
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Statistics; or an MBA
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Advisory Services or Dispute Consulting
  • Proven financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance principles, GAAP and financial statement analysis
  • Proven mathematical, analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make professional presentations, which includes possessing superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and ability to maximize applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated valuation, dispute and/or credit analysis experience

Responsible for planning and carrying out sensitive and complex investigations, investigative support operations and investigative projects. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience. Investigates allegations of misconduct and unethical behavior that are received through various reporting channels. * Under the supervision of the Director, COBC, conducts corporate investigations involving allegations concerning KBR's COBC and other policies. Develops investigative plans, interviews witnesses, reviews records, and documents investigative findings in well-written reports. * Conducts complex and sensitive global investigations involving allegations of fraud, corruption, theft, conflicts of interests and * Conducts investigations involving employment relations to include sexual harassment and discrimination. * Works effectively and establishes rapport with other Business Unit functions, such as Internal Audit, Legal, HR, Security, Business Development, Procurement and Operations. * Effectively communicates with law enforcement, military, and government representatives to gather information for investigations. * Presents results of investigations and inquiries using clear and concise methods that will be reviewed by executive management. * Travels on short notice to remote and sometimes hazardous locations to include military installations in combat areas and construction sites, to conduct investigations. * Provides training presentations to large audiences to prevent misconduct and promote ethics and compliance within KBR. * Assists in identifying root causes of noncompliance findings or policy violations, gaps in business processes, and corrective actions commensurate with an effective COBC program. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Requires 10+ years of relevant investigative experience in conducting complex fraud and corruption investigations for a Federal investigative agency, Corporation or other organization. * Extensive experience conducting interviews with subjects from diverse backgrounds and cultures and conducting results in case management systems. * Extensive experience documenting investigative findings in well-drafted reports and the ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) complex issues with simplicity and efficacy. * Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with peers and stakeholders throughout the company in different contexts and at different levels. * Ability to provide Ethics training presentations to audiences to prevent misconduct and promote ethics and compliance. * Ability to conduct sensitive employment investigations to include harassment and discrimination. * Proven track record managing multiple projects or investigations simultaneously and focusing on critical priorities with little supervision. * Knowledge of Federal criminal laws and USSC Guidelines pertaining to Corporate Responsibility. * Strong, independent and ethical decision-making with a demonstrated commitment to integrity and compliance. * Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with peers and stakeholders throughout the company in different contexts and at different levels. * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. * Approximately 50-60% global and domestic travel required.
