POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Senior Associate Director of Admissions will assume a leadership role in in the overall operations of the Admissions Office, which manages many of the critical tasks related to student recruitment and onboarding. Within the Admissions Office, the Senior Associate Director will be responsible for helping to increase the efficiency and interconnectedness of the various major areas, such as: Communications, Customer Service, Processing, Recruitment, and Transfer Credit Evaluations. External to the Admissions Office, the Senior Associate Director will have a similar responsibility in helping to better integrate Admissions operations with those of the various campus stakeholders that play a role in the student onboarding process and experience. In the absence of the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Senior Associate Director will oversee all Admissions operations.
In additional the CUNY title Overview of duties, the tasks of the Senior Associate Director of Admissions include, but are not limited to:
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Manages on- and off-campus recruiting activities at a College or unit.
Develops and implements marketing strategies and recruitment initiatives
Manages one or more teams of admissions/recruiting staff, providing supervision, training, and development
Manages application review processes
Maintains relationships with selected academic divisions/departments to coordinate recruiting efforts
Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness of enrollment, recruitment, and marketing strategies
Performs related duties as assigned.
