KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, DevOps Engineering to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with App Development teams to develop solution designs

  • Assist in the development of roadmaps and participate in the standard process for security solutions

  • Maintain and/or create documentation of the environments including run books, technical diagrams and process documents

  • Uphold technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of DevOps engineering

  • Drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule and with the highest quality

  • Provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience in an IT environment, managing and supporting projects

  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience with software development (coding), build automation, continuous integration and related tools (e.g. Jenkins), continuous delivery and application release orchestration (ARO) tools and platforms; experience should span private, public and hybrid cloud environments

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Hands-on experience with: Linux scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Python, PowerShell, IT automation, SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, "Infrastructure as Code". Red Hat Open Shift certification a PLUS

  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work
