KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in CIO Advisory for our Consulting practice.
Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of software licensing engagements in addition to other types of third party reviews
Analyze, summarize and conduct research on complex license agreements to understand software licensing as well as and identify contract issues
Draft reports for management review and document review results in work papers
Prepare testing plan and lead testing sessions with customers IT Administrators
Demonstrate commitment for quality and should be flexible to work for extended hours to complete high priority deliverables
Accountable for the quality of deliverable and take feedback constructively to provide better client services experience
Three years of experience in software licensing, software asset management, software assurance, or software audit and two years of advisory experience in solution design, implementation or support along with experience in system administration, database administration and software licensing
Two years of advisory experience in solution design, implementation or support along with experience in system administration, database administration and software licensing
Ability to understand various software deployment scenarios within a customers environment and co-relate it to the software licensing contracts
Ability to fully understand the structure of a virtualized environment. Familiar with the concept of ESX virtualization, LPAR/HMC and Zoning
Ability to use operating system commands to extract processor, memory and application configurations across different operating system and ability to analyze, summarize and review large and non-standard data sets using Excel/Access/SQL Server and use advanced data analysis techniques like use of arrays, tables, conditional formatting and macros for efficient data analysis. Leverage MS Access/SQL server as necessary depending on data volume
Knowledge of tiered computer systems (front/back end access, multi-tier architecture, client/remote access)
Willingness to travel up to fifty percent
