Job Description:

As a Senior Associate Consultant on Cerner's Acute/Ambulatory team you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with client to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested, Identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership. Coach client on data collection and system design requirements, and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. Consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests, Maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, related field, or equivalent and relevant work experience

  • At least 1 year of software implementation work experience

  • At least 2 years of health care information technology consulting and/or work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Cerner PhysicianTrack experience

  • At least 1 year of consulting work experience in an acute/ambulatory setting

Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 100% as necessary

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
