Catalent is looking to recruit a Senior Associate, cGMP Biomanufacturing to join our fast-paced team in Madison WI.
As the Senior Associate you will lead/co-lead cGMP Biomanufacturing production.
This is a Senior level individual contributor position and will work with minimal supervision.
In concert with Catalents Patient First philosophy, the biomanufacturing team executes and documents manufacturing activities at the highest caliber pursuant to our goal of delivering products and services of the highest quality to our customers in a timely manner.
. The Role Performs daily review of executed cGMP documentation (BPRs, forms). Coordinates with Supervisor to prioritize and schedule activities to meet established deadlines.
Performs aseptic techniques within a clean room environment.
Executes and properly documents cGMP Biomanufacturing activities.
Operates and troubleshoots cGMP Biomanufacturing equipment such as pH/conductivity meters, mixing tanks (SUMs), tubing fusers/sealers, filter integrity testers, peristaltic pumps, balances and Biosafety Cabinets (BSC) or Laminar Flow Hoods (LFH). The Candidate M.S./M.A.
in Biotechnology, or related field, with no prior experience; or B.S./B.A.
in Biotechnology, or related field, with minimum of 3 years experience in related laboratory work; or Associates Degree/Certificate/Diploma in laboratory science with minimum of 4 years experience in related laboratory work.

The Role * Supervise cGMP Biomanufacturing production activities * Author and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Batch Production Records (BPR) and Job Aid (JA) * Maintain effectiveness of Quality system * Performs Daily review and final sign-off of executed cGMP documentation (BPRs, forms) The Candidate * Ph.D. in Biotechnology, or related field with at least 2 years of laboratory experience or MS in Biotechnology, or related field with at least 3 years of industry laboratory experience or B.S/B.A. in Biotechnology, or related field with at least 5 - 8 years' experience in a laboratory environment or Associates Degree/Certificate/Diploma in laboratory science with minimum of 7 years' experience in a laboratory * Minimum 5 years' experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting stirred vessel bioreactors, incubators, chromatography columns, filtration apparatus and proven purification expertise with varied proteins.
