Chunky is an incredibly dynamic brand with a history of leveraging big sponsorships (NFL), big name talent and breakthrough innovation. In this role, you will immerse yourself in the brand and consumer insights to uncover untapped opportunities to drive relevancy in an increasingly competitive Soup landscape.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Partnering with Teams: Collaborate closely with brand operations, integrated marketing, and innovation teams to align strategies and ensure successful brand development and activation.

  • Brand Strategy: Develop a strategic framework for the brand's growth plans over a 3-5 year period, ensuring a sufficient pipeline of products and initiatives. Continuously evolve and refine the brand's foundations to stay relevant and competitive.

  • Business Planning: Work closely with the innovation team to create a pipeline of new products and platforms that align with the brand's strategic direction. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Communicate project status, issues, and opportunities to the broader organization. Collaborate with the brand operations team to inform monthly integrated business planning.

  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Become an expert on the brand and its competitors, continuously monitoring the market landscape and identifying trends and opportunities to guide future plans.

  • Data Synthesis and Decision-making: Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources to make informed decisions and recommendations for brand strategy and marketing initiatives.

Your ability to think strategically will be vital in identifying new opportunities and addressing challenges head on.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects adhere to aggressive timelines while balancing the longer-term requirements outlined in our marketing plans.

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: You will be proficient at inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a cohesive approach to marketing initiatives. Your collaboration extends to external agency teams, where you will skillfully manage partnerships to deliver outstanding results.

  • Results-Driven Performance: Ownership of business results is at the core of this role. You will diligently track key performance indicators, analyze data, and draw actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies. With a growth mindset, you will proactively recommend and implement adjustments to our plans to maximize success.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required - MBA strongly preferred.

  • 3 years of proven experience in brand management, strategic marketing, and project management. Consumer goods or services experience is required - experience in food is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with NFL sponsorships is a big plus!

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to have an ability to inform, influence and collaborate work with cross functional internal stakeholders across multiple leadership levels and external agencies.

  • Strong creative thinking with demonstrated ability to build activations with creative, digital, social, public relations, and media agency partners.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within tight timeframes and deadlines in a dynamic everchanging working environment.

  • Excellent analytical skills and business/financial acumen.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving an exceeding strategic business goals.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$85,900-$140,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
