The Senior Associate Athletic Director is a senior leadership position within the university's athletic department, responsible for providing strategic oversight of financial operations, budgetary planning, and fiscal management to support the mission and goals of the athletics program.

This is an in-person, on-campus; non-remote position.

Duty

Administer all requisitions and expense vouchers for the entire athletics department, including all coaches, staff and administrators.

Regular or Occasional Regular Duty

Manage recruitment trips and official visits and reconciliation of all pertinent expense forms.

Regular or Occasional Regular Duty

Manage the financial aspects of all summer camps and clinics.

Regular or Occasional Regular Duty

Meeting with teams regarding business and communications practices.

Monitor summer school decisions and follow through with Financial Aid.

Regular or Occasional Regular Duty

Oversee the administration, reconciliation of all purchase cards and credit cards issued to coaches, staff and administrators within Athletics.

Preparation and organization of required NCAA and Coastal Athletic Association and MEAC Forms and Reports.

Responsible for adhering to policies and procedures governing the Department of Athletics and the University and any applicable rules and regulations associated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Coastal Athletic Association and MEAC or any other conference or organization with which the University is or becomes associated with which affects University Athletics.

Schedule all busses and vans for team travel and the reconciliation of all vouchers pertaining to team travel.

Provide event management, scheduling, data entry, ticket sales, problem solving and public interaction.

Oversee athletic division units such as but not limited to equipment, facilities, laundry, etc.

Supervision of Sports as directed by the Athletics Director

Assist with invoicing corporate sponsors, external constituents for payment and processing.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity and transparency of financial operations within the athletic department and collaboration with financial divisions within the University.

Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and management of annual operating budgets, revenue forecasts, and expenditure projections for all athletic programs and departments.

Regular or Occasional Regular Duty

Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation and maximizing revenue generation opportunities.

Manage athletic contracts, competitive procurement, captial project planning, and inventory systems.
