KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Application Portfolio Management to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as operational administrator of new Firmwide Application Management system

  • Coordinate data management activities related to specific application records or overall system processes

  • Deliver special information requests and predefined reporting needs

  • Serve as central support / customer support for internal firm resources with questions or concerns

  • Participate in requirements development for future projects in Application Catalog portfolio as well as change management activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' experience supporting requirement development and data management activities in a large enterprise platform

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Experience managing or serving as key contributor to technology initiatives with strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technology components and terms

  • Able to take initiative and working independently

  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work; Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members

Responsibilities: * Development of technologies to gather, process and turn data into action * Help focus team effort on continual improvement of process through research, analysis and adoption of new products and technologies for the purpose of managing capacity for build and run activities * Operate Data Warehouse such as Oracle, MongoDB, Hadoop, MSSQL and Business Intelligence tools - Qlikview, Alteryx, Tableau, Log Aggregation - Splunk, ELK Stack * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies introduced internally and externally * Build relationships on behalf of department with business clients and technology staff and determine and execute ways to implement solutions that meet business needs and addresses impact of new or revised tools and procedures * Manage and integrate new team members and set goals, provide feedback and developmental opportunities Qualifications: * Minimum eight years of senior level systems administrator experience; preferably in Enterprise Level Data Centers with production environments over 1000 servers * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university * Technical knowledge and experience with SQL Query Languages; Experience with Splunk Query Language, conceptual understanding of data lakes and data warehouses and the ability to code with a widely used programming/scripting language (C#, Powershell, Python, Bash, VBScript) * Familiarity with Agile practices, and ITIL and technical knowledge with various hardware including server, network and data center equipment * Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work * US Citizenship required KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
