Job Description:

The Senior Associate, Accounts Payable position plays an integral role within the Finance Team. This role is essential to supporting the Procure-to-Pay function, while ensuring sound accounting principles/ practices. The candidate must be hands- on, detail- oriented, a team player and have strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills. This role will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Accounts Payable function, ensuring proper coding and application of accounting policies as part of the month- end close process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting & Controls

• Assist in leading the Accounts Payable month- end close process, including detailed coding of multiple invoices, preparation of journal entries and maintenance of detailed journal entry schedules.

• Review and coding of A/P invoices and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Company policies and procedures.

• Research, attain clarification and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues through communication with vendors and internal personnel at Dimensional.

• Provide support to the AP Manager in developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of the A/P Subledger reconciliations, reports and analyses.

• Assist with month- end and year- end closing processes.

• Assist Accounts Payable Manager with Form 1099 & 1042 Reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries for Accounts Payable transactions.

• Accounting Policy

• Handling of complex invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the accounting department policies and procedures.

• Ability to analyze and assess invoice classification, and application of appropriate accounting classification.

• Vision & Strategy

• Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including Procurement and other departments outside of Accounting, to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

• Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders in the Accounts Payable process.

• Audit

• Assist with the consolidated and global statutory audits, including answering questions and preparing requested deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Equivalent related work experience or combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of an Bachelor's degree.

• 5+ years of work experience in Accounts Payable preferred

• Proficiency working the Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Experience working with invoices in multiple currencies is preferred.

• Exposure working in the Accounts Payable module of an ERP system required. Oracle Cloud environment preferred, but not required.

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to effectively share and engage with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve invoice- related matters.
