What part will you play?

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Project Senior Assets Manager for the Harry Potter Global Franchise Development department. Based in Burbank, reporting into the VP Brand & Marketing and in partnership with Content Management and Distribution team, manage the agency responsible for the delivery of the franchise asset project and A+ asset database.

The Senior Asset Manager will also be an important resource for the Franchise team, WB and External partners to ensure the future-proofing of all franchise assets in order to create efficiencies and project support. The position is the key liaison between Marketing, PD, and all other WB divisions worldwide to facilitate the archiving and fulfillment of digital and physical assets and clearance information.

  • Develop an expert understanding of all Wizarding World-related properties, their related assets including knowledge of the related rights and franchise sensitivities in order to be a source of guidance for all WB divisions and partners.

  • Reporting into the VP, Brand & Marketing, manage the successful delivery of the franchise asset project and A+ asset collection and database to serve the franchise growth plans.

  • Upon delivery of the Asset Management System, manage digital asset system and facilitate ongoing uploading, tagging, and assigning proper metadata for new assets from agencies, partners, and toolkits for efficient user searchability across all franchise initiatives.

  • Fulfill all asset requests including the creation and distribution of asset catalogues to agencies, partners, and for internal groups through secure means; including requests including for:

  • Reference materials

  • Video assets

  • Audio tracks

  • Marketing assets

  • Style Guide assets

  • Photography

  • Assists the Franchise team in all facets of digital asset fulfillment, including archiving, distribution, digitizing, file conversion, and ingestion.

  • Develops and implements long-term archival strategy for cross-divisional Franchise digital and analog assets.

  • Creating an efficient workflow for requests, approvals, and clearances with legal and divisions.

  • Be the franchise point of contact with Legal for asset specific queries, identifying clearance issues and workshop potential long-term needs and solutions.

  • Develop a general understanding of guild regulations and reuse laws in order to provide efficient guidance to teams.

  • Facilitate all user permissions and new accounts and manage monthly account clean ups.

  • Other projects as assigned.

What do we require from you?

  • College degree or equivalent preferred.

  • 7+ years' experience in a franchise or global brand asset or creative role.

  • Previous experience in archival procedures, including computer systems, preferred.

  • Digital Asset Management experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with a studio, entertainment or brand management company required.

  • Experience managing complex multifaceted projects with exceptional project management skills.

  • Knowledge of MAC/PC hardware and application software and platforms and troubleshooting required.

  • Knowledge of archiving and library practices preferred.

  • Knowledge of Creative/Design workflows required.

  • Knowledge of common tools used by creative teams required.

  • Knowledge of Digital Asset Management required.

  • Knowledge of web sites maintenance preferred.

  • Demonstrable existing expertise with the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts books and films.

  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime as needed.

In this role, you will lead multiple Global Operations functions including Materials/Planning, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Plant Operations. A primary role will be to lead our Operations SAP integration efforts across Planning, Manufacturing, Master Data, Procurement, and Warehousing, and across our global operations in Europe, Asia, and North America. Operations leadership is required on several Transitional Service Agreement exits, including Japan 3rd Party Products, Demand Planning, and outsourcing initiatives for Japan Biocide manufacturing, Japan Relabeling, Capital Inspection, and Heatsealer Repair services. The Operations Workstream Leader will report to the VP of Global Operations and become a member of the ASP Global Operations Senior Leadership Team. As a member of the Operations Senior Leadership Team, you will help develop and implement project plans that meet Global Operations objectives. As the lead Operations Workstream Leader, your scope of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading Operations workstreams on the critical transition projects, working with the Global Operations staff on defining objectives for each workstream, planning and executing the project plan on schedule and resource budget. The opportunity ahead represents the chance to be on the ground floor of a $800m "start-up" as the business is stood up.
