Job Description

Works under general direction and guidance of the Department Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for all planning and scheduling of manufactured parts through a CMMS and Purchasing applications, for the maintenance organization. Provides direction to Tool Crib Personnel.

  • Familiar with a variety of the organizational concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as, a complete understanding of material planning and control.

  • Identifies, purchases and organizes key spare parts for critical equipment.

  • Experience managing an industrial/maintenance department tool crib highly desirable. Will directly manage 1st shift tool crib attendants and indirectly manage 2nd and 3rd shift attendants.

  • Help develop BOM's for assets and support kitting for planned work.

  • Maintains sufficient inventory to support manufacturing and site needs.

  • Evaluates and arranges agreements with outside vendors for custom built items and long lead parts.

  • This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan and accomplish department objectives.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Associates degree with 6 years of experience in parts inventory and coordinating function required or High school diploma with at least 8 years of experience in a parts inventory, coordinating function.

  • Must have strong personal computer knowledge with strong aptitude in spreadsheet and database development to include Excel, Word, and Access.

  • Proficiency of Oracle's E-Business Suite, including EAM, as well as reporting tools like OBIEE, Discoverer and/or Business Objects or similar software preferred.

  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, inventory control, material requirements planning processes & concepts, enterprise resources planning processes & concepts.

  • Knowledge of managing tool crib inventory and parts expediting.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
