Our Opportunity:
Chewy is dedicated to being the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents (and partners), everywhere. On the Chewy Vet Care team, we embrace this vision (and our pets!) as we design and build Chewy Vet Care veterinary clinics. We craft physical experiences that delight Pet Parents, Pets, and the Veterinarian Team that cares for them. We design and create spaces that empower them to keep pets happy and healthy. As a team of hard-working, collaborative, and fun-loving designers, architects, and builders, we're looking for creative and driven talent to join the pack.
We are seeking a Senior Architectural Designer

Transform customer and business objectives into compelling spaces that have purpose, simplicity, and are feasible to build within the timeline and budget boundaries established.
Develop multiple solutions for a specific challenge that can be delivered across a range of real estate types and with a bias for action and crisp prioritization.
Manage the design process for your projects from end to end: Discovery and Due Diligence, Schematic Design, Design Development drawings which communicate intent to our third-party AOR/EOR, coordination and collaboration of Construction Documents with the AOR/EOR and internal teams, and Construction Administration during the construction phase.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, marketers, user researchers, and other designers. Manage 3P services, relationships, budgets, timelines, and quality.
Champion cohesion and consistency to unite a growing portfolio of Chewy Vet Care locations, you'll look to simplify our process and ensure our locations have a common experience.
Clearly present your design process, inspiration, and decisions to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Nurture Chewy's culture and principles within your team and the design practice.

7+ years of experience as an architect, interior designer, concept designer, or similar role
5+ years of experience leading large-scale design initiatives while delivering through ambiguity and evolving business needs.
Proficient skills in Revit, AutoCad, Bluebeam Revu, Enscape, Sketchup, Adobe and Microsoft suites
A track record of delivering high-quality, accurate drawing sets that deliver results and demonstrate the depth of your design skills; illustrated in a portfolio or case studies.
Proven experience communicating and presenting complex problems clearly to both internal and external stakeholders and approvers.
A proven ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of your design decisions.
