Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

Prologis is seeking a Senior Architect at our Cerritos, CA office to establish our in-house industrial site planning and preliminary design capabilities.

Here's how to do that:

  • Develop conceptual industrial designs for land pursuits and building projects

  • Manage the design aspect of the development process including developing preliminary site plans, floor plans, elevations, outline specifications, and preconstruction schedules.

  • Manage external architects' compliance with Prologis BIM standards

  • Update and maintain Prologis building specifications and TI specifications and coordinate with preferred architects to ensure these specifications are implemented.

  • Research design and construction innovations and value engineering opportunities that will enhance and futureproof Prologis' developments without compromising functionality or life cycle costs

  • Understand and embrace the customer-oriented culture of Prologis

Tell us if you're ready

  • 10 years of professional experience designing and managing industrial architecture projects.

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture

  • Registered architect - NCARB certified is desirable but not required

  • LEED accreditation is desirable but not required

  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and BIM. Experience with BIM 360 is desirable

  • Highly knowledgeable in the IBC, CBC, NFPA 13, and T-24

  • Must be creative with a strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail

  • Be proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving

  • Be able to travel up to 20% of the time

Requirements: * Prior Store Manager experience. * Must have the approval of your Regional Sales Director and Zone Vice President * Must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally all written and verbal instructions with coworkers and customers. * Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, which may include working any of the hours the store is in operation , at least two closing shift per week, Saturday's , and six days per week during peak periods * Travel as needed to assist with inventory, training, sales audit, bridal shows and recruiting at the request of your multi-unit team.
