As we grow, we are seeking a Senior Architect Asset Management and Permitting Systems based in any of the following locations: Denver, CO, Arlington, VA, Chicago, IL, or Richmond, VA.

The Senior Architect will work directly with internal stakeholders and may interface with our client team to pursue sales opportunities and lead the technical team to configure Asset Management and Permitting platforms to meet client goals and objectives. The Technical Architect will support strategic asset management opportunities and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to develop processes to ensure consistency in documentation and configurations across a portfolio of projects

  • Develop templates for analysts to use as a guide on projects that align to asset management best practices

  • Look for opportunities to innovate by either creating new tools to streamline analyst time on projects or by providing new value-added tools or deliverables as part of our client projects.

  • Setup a configuration review board to regularly validate processes are being followed and both documentation and configuration meet the expected quality and consistency.

  • Stay on top of the cutting edge ESRI, Cityworks and other relevant business partners' technology, digest it and present new information coming from these vendors to our teams, so we can consult our clients on new trends and offerings in the marketplace.

  • Assist with guiding project tasks to ensure standardized methods are followed

  • Ensure a high level of quality is delivered to clients

  • Configure and implement Asset Management and Permitting products and ensure quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget

  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives

  • Streamline productivity with internal and client cross-functional teams

  • Provide on-going communication throughout the project

  • Deliver end-user training and education recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or similar field

  • Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience with Oracle or SQL scripting, data migration and Asset Management (Cityworks, Infor, Maximo, Oracle, SAP, etc.) expertise

  • Must be able to travel 30-50% to Woolpert regional offices and client sites as needed

  • Federal, State, County and/or City Government knowledge is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service

  • Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment with Project Managers, Project Directors, Analysts and Developers; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals

  • Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiatives
