Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Enterprise Architect with extensive experience in Adobe technologies to join our Marketing Technology team. This role involves designing data architecture solutions to support consumer and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define technology strategies, and integrate advanced data models and AI/ML solutions in a cloud-oriented environment. Job Description

The Senior Architect within the Comcast Software Engineering is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture solutions to support Consumer and Marketing initiatives and strategies.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identifying data sources, and creating data models that optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis. The Senior Architect will also play a key role in defining solutions, applications, infrastructure, and tools for the organization for a completely cloud oriented team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the platform architecture, technology strategy, and implementation standards for marketing technology solutions.

  • Leverage Adobe Experience Cloud (including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign) to design marketing solutions that drive personalized customer experiences.

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions supporting marketing analytics, customer segmentation, campaign management, and personalization initiatives.

  • Focus on data modeling, data quality, data integration, and data governance to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

  • Provide strategic technology guidance to shape the overall marketing technology strategy.

  • Collaborate with other architects and subject matter experts to integrate solutions with the broader ecosystem.

  • Understand and integrate AI/ML models to enhance marketing technology capabilities.

  • Document architectural decisions, designs, and requirements clearly and concisely. Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and other artifacts.

  • Present solutions to leadership, management, architects, and developers to ensure alignment and understanding.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior architects and engineering teams, ensuring best practices in architecture design and implementation.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval performance through database tuning, indexing strategies, and data partitioning techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on marketing technology and Adobe Experience Cloud.

  • Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign. Strong knowledge of web technologies, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.

  • Proven experience in leading architectural initiatives and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Relevant Adobe certifications and enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in data architecture.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and driving key performance indicators.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts and techniques.
