We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to collaborate with the global sales and engineering teams to produce winning technical and commercial proposals for process burner combustion equipment. In this role, you will make presentations to global customers regarding the content of the proposal and the benefits of buying Callidus environmental and combustion technologies and services. You will capture the voice of the customer information and provide it to the engineering team to ensure our technical proposal meets the customer needs. You will craft detailed engineering proposals and cost estimates, ensuring that needs are met in the most cost-effective way possible. You will help drive integrated solutions sales that bring together both hardware and software products. We expect you to be comfortable with up to 70% travel, including domestic, international, and overnights. Lead internal development of comprehensive bid packages across multiple engineering disciplines
20 Generate technical and commercial proposals for process burner applications 20 Establish cost estimates and set pricing for job opportunities 20 Negotiate terms and conditions with clients 20 Develop turnover packages for execution to successfully complete projects 20 Work with Regional Sales Managers to review and target opportunities to pursue

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a technical /engineering field.

WE VALUE

Advanced degree in an engineering or business field.

Some experience in working with Heater Manufacturers.

Product development and testing experience.

Experience with process burner design.

Influential, relationship building, and ability to educate others, and write persuasive proposals that clearly articulate a technical offering and company capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to handle complex engineering projects within a matrixed organization with multiple priorities.

Some experience working with an advanced customer relationship management software package.

The Director will coach and mentor the staff, provide project guidance, perform resource management and define and manage the fiscal year expense and capital project budgets. Additionally, the Director will develop and cultivate relationships with the Business Leaders to understand their business needs to provide proactive IT solutions and services that meet or exceed their expectations. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Continued transformation of the applications with a focus on the creation of business value by aligning business goals with IT solutions. * Direct application projects from a high level to ensure timeliness, technical direction, and emphasis on customer service for the business. * Develop and maintain a relationship with the various business units to ensure their needs and expectations are met. * Responsible for job assignment, issue resolution, customer advocacy, and on-call support of certain business applications at NGL. * Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. * Manage team of individuals responsible for end user support across multiple applications. * Lead multiple projects and assist with development and configuration activities to ensure specifications and business requirements are met. * Coordinate and assist team in performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. * Provide orientation and training to power users / end users for modified and new systems. * Participate in IT SOX and the various compliance audits. * Support month-end Accounting close processes. Formal Education and Certification * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Accounting is required. Knowledge and Technical Experience * 10 plus years of experience in an IT Applications Leadership role, preferably in the Energy industry. * Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products is required. * An understanding of financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, and reporting processes and its correlation to supporting ERP and reporting systems. * Technical and Management experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle eBusiness Suite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, BI360 Reporting, Hyperion Reporting, Perceptive, SharePoint or similar applications is required.
