They have an opening for a Senior Applications Engineer – New Business Intake and Conflicts. This role is pivotal, acting as the IT owner of several applications and platforms for our Conflicts and Intake team, including IntApp Conflicts, Intake, Walls and Terms, integrations, mobility, and related systems and tools. This highly skilled technical position involves day-to-day oversight, support, and administration of assigned systems.

Key Responsibilities: Act as IT owner of applications supporting the firm’s risk and compliance activities, particularly IntApp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms. Understand workflows and processes related to new business intake and conflicts activities.

Build and maintain a strong relationship with IntApp for product features and bug fixes. Manage application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and roadmaps. Provide direct oversight and management of assigned solutions.

Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical support as needed. Ensure the health and stability of all owned solutions. Analyze processes, application features, configurations, and respond to end-user questions.

Monitor, track, and report on performance and capacity; responsible for capacity planning. Collaborate with IT teams to develop and deliver enhancements and new capabilities. Deliver recommendations to business and IT leadership based on platform understanding.

Maintain accurate architecture and support documentation. Adhere to IT's Change Management, SDLC, and incident management processes. Collaborate in creating and using training and Quality Assurance materials.

Coach junior analysts and work with Quality Assurance on test scripts and procedures. Proficiencies: Strong communication, organization, negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Advanced knowledge of multi-tier architecture, servers, databases, proxies, load balancing, trust/access rights, certificates, and integrations.

Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, including IIS, services, scheduled tasks, logging, and configurations. Knowledge of system integrations, including APIs, web services, FTP, and database-to-database. Ability to manage monitoring, backups, HA, BC, DR, patching, and admin tools.

Ability to work with desktop and mobile applications for installation and configurations. Proficiency with SQL Server, SQL development/queries, and reporting tools. Experience with project management, including plans, tasks, and resource management using tools like Confluence and JIRA.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell. Knowledge of security and data governance best practices and procedures. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience with IntApp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms and equivalent risk and compliance solutions.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in information technology. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with and supporting enterprise platforms. Preferred: At least 3 years’ experience in executive-level engagement and customer service.
