The Infrastructure and Economic Development Information Technology Delivery Center is seeking a knowledgeable applications developer to join their team. Apply today!You will be responsible for design, re-design, development, maintenance, and modernization of applications while working independently using Microsoft development tools and best practices as well as SQL Server Reporting services. In this position, you will perform various data administration tasks associated with application development, and serve on development teams with other application developers for larger projects; performing tasks from requirements, design, development, to the implementation of Client/Server applications.

You will be part of the agencies Center of Excellence (COE) Team supporting the core systems, as well as all lower-level non-COE agency systems used by the agency, and the Electronic Single Applications and its associated sub-systems.

  • Full-time employment

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a one-hour meal period

  • Multiple positions may be filled from this posting

  • You will be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
    One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; OR three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; OR five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; OR one year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
