Senior Applications Design Engineer - BTS
Work with device design team to design or optimize Doherty and Class-AB evaluation circuits to initiate design-in opportunities at key basestation customers supporting GaN on Silicon/GaN on Silicon Carbide high power FET and MMIC devices.
Manage accounts as the technical interface. Build and maintain relationships with development teams at customer sites.
Technically drive marketing activities, including seminar/exhibition/conference, collect market feedback and give suggestions to the Product Line
Assist product quality teams as the technical contact.
Some travel will be necessary.
Key Competencies Required:
Bachelor/Master Degree in electronics engineering with focus on RF circuit design.
5+ years experience in RF design or applications, experience with high power amplifiers.
Demonstrated experience of high power RF circuit techniques for performance enhancements such as digital pre-distortion and Doherty.
Expert in RF laboratory equipment and measurement techniques including power amplifier circuit assembly and tuning.
Highly knowledgeable in modelling techniques for non-linear systems. Familiar with simulation tools such as ADS/Microwave office/Momentum.
Understanding of device physics is a plus.
Excellent problem solving skills with a proactive attitude.
Proficient in English language.
