Role/Responsibilities:

SASA, supporting customer facing high-risk web applications

  • Lead the development of a strategic application security architecture vision, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy using the current Technology roadmap.

  • Create, and maintain the Application Security Reference Architecture based on industry framework such as SABSA, Zachman, TOGAF etc.

  • Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements.

  • Acts as a visionary and advocate for the application security architecture. Communicates and educates on the IS Architecture and roadmap.

  • Develop security design pattern by identifying broader and emerging IS issues.

  • Provides architecture mentoring and consulting across the bank. Provides advice and consulting support to project teams and other architects.

  • Prioritizes architecture deliverables, and establish short-term, mid-term and long-range architecture plans. Facilitates the migration to the reference architecture in a way that enables and supports the strategic plan.

  • Maintains understanding of business issues, operating procedures and priorities. - Actively seeks opportunities for increased business and IT agility.

  • Understand current as well as emerging security threats and reflect changes in security architecture to mitigate threats.

  • Partners with other stakeholders in broader IS, development and architecture organizations to influence security standards, development and coding methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or IT related field), or equivalent work experience.

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a senior enterprise IS architect and implementing architecture best practices, preferably in the Financial Industry.

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in IS strategic planning and architecture migration strategies.

  • Thorough knowledge and awareness across key IS domains such as identity access management, cryptography.

  • Experience in working in a highly regulated environment and global organization.

  • Ability to examine issues both strategically and analytically

  • Ability to influence and communicate within all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to mentor and coach others.

  • Certifications preferred, i.e. Certified Enterprise Architect, CISSP, CISM, etc.
