FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Application Manager is focused on high-quality, reliable and maintainable work products and is comfortable working side by side with business, end users and our Client's customers. Our goal is to quickly deliver valuable, working software to clients and their users. Manage the team's objectives, backlog, prioritization, signing off on stories and representing stakeholders, business and the end customer, to the team. Review and contribute to the product vision and roadmap.

  • Hands on team leader, able to manage a technical team, responsible for staff development and building pairs teams.

  • Business liaison partnered on the product vision and backlog refinement.

  • Experience with agile technologies and methodologies a plus.

  • Great communication skills required - point of contact for all communications.

  • Organized and able to multi-task.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience as a lead in the software development field.

  • 5-7 years of development and/ or support team leadership experience required.

  • Experience delivering on a software development team.

  • Previous experience and success working with agile development teams.

  • Experience as a product owner, business analyst, or relevant, transferable professional experience. Experience defining and prioritizing product enhancements.

  • Proven ability to self-manage and drive results (organize, prioritize, time manage and focus).

  • Excellent communication skills required to translate business needs into technical terms.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others. Ability to influence decision making across wide a variety of roles and levels in the organization.

  • .Net, Java, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, GCP (or AWS certified)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Masters degree in computer science
  • SCRUM certification
