Senior Application Integration Engineer
You will be joining a growing team that supports best in class SaaS business applications, working with other integration and systems engineers to support scaling our business operations. We're looking for a team player that can both roll up their sleeves and roll with the punches. Designing and building Databricks SaaS integration infrastructure.
Improving the operation and maintenance of our existing integration systems through iterative upgrades, streamlining, and adoption of standard methodology.
Supporting company-level initiatives for transforming Databricks business processes and providing integration expertise and solutions.
Design/Strategy: The Application Integration Engineer designs and supports the application integration between various business application and systems in very optimized manner. In this capacity, the Application Integration Engineer designs and develops systems high availability integration architecture with future expansion in mind.
Collaboration: The role that the Application Integration Engineer plays is highly collaborative works closely with business and application stakeholders in an attempt to gather data integration requirements.
Analytics: The role plays an analytical role in quickly and thoroughly analyzing business requirements for reporting and analysis and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs. In this capacity, the Integration Engineer establishes the documentation of integration, develops, and maintains technical specification documentation for all processes.
10+ years of demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting innovative Enterprise integration solutions and meeting business requirements.
CS or Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an interest in understanding the real needs that drive requirements.
Someone that can offer meaningful perspectives on integration design patterns, concepts, alternatives, and best practices.
Knowledge of, or experience with, iPaaS such as Dell Boomi, Snaplogic, Mulesoft or Scriptlogic
Previously built solutions integrating across enterprise SaaS systems like Salesforce (Force.com), Workday, NetSuite, Marketo, and JIRA.
Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java application, including experience with JEE, JMS, and Tomcat.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying public and private APIs using SOAP and REST
Knowledge of Active Directory, configuring of Single Sign On, LDAP & SAML based frameworks
Data management experience including SQL tools like MySQL and Postgres, as well as experience with data warehouse systems.
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Proficient in modern SaaS dev ops and CI/CD tools and operating environments, such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Github, AWS, Azure etc. preferred
Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Streaming, Python, Scala etc.
Familiar with agile methodologies for enterprise SDLC across service development, security, deployment, maintenance, operations, monitoring, and updates preferred.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF preferred.
