The Senior Application Developer is accountable for the following:
Designs, develops, modifies and delivers software programs
Leads the architecture, development and maintenance of solutions
Provides direction in architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews on functional correctness, architectural maintainability and performance
Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
Maintains technology standards and drives innovation & best practices to team
Proactively identify gaps in the existing infrastructure and development process, acting as a catalyst for change for greater efficiency
Leverages deep technical and solution expertise to create clear, well-constructed technical designs of large scope
Iterates with other business areas to maintain solution vision
Mentor junior-level developers
Performs routine and emergency maintenance on corporate systems.
Interfaces between internal business users and technical consultants.
Qualified candidates will possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university plus six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Technical Skills:
6+ years of experience as a full stack developer
Experience with developing responsive web applications
Experience with developing service-oriented architectures
Experience with .Net, .NetCore and SOAP/REST services
Knowledge and experience with databases (e.g. Azure Sql, Sql Server, MySQL)
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins)
Experience & passion for Agile development methodology
Excellent analysis, communication, and teamwork
Experience with cloud development (e.g. Azure, Amazon)
Experience with low code development platforms (e.g. Boomi, Azure Logic Apps)
Knowledge and experience with WordPress (design, development and maintenance
