Job Purpose
Join our Client Integration Services and API Solutions team to be at the center of financial technology innovation! On the Client Integration Services and API Solutions team, you'll work as a key member in the Technology Group on the ICE Derivatives Trading Platform, servicing the world's largest banks and prominent financial institutions.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing an API ecosystem that process hundreds of millions of messages daily. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the seamless performance and continuous evolution of our API applications, supporting FIX, FIXml, REST, and Proprietary protocols.
Your day-to-day will be filled with dynamic responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities to drive progress in numerous functions including Quality Assurance & Test Automation, Certification Testing, Client Communication & Integration, New Product & Feature Launches, and Development & Tier-2 Production Support for ICE Futures, Derivatives, and OTC Markets.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies, ensuring that every objective is achieved and solutions perform as anticipated
Develop and deliver well written test plans and summaries
Perform and maintain automated functional and regression testing on internally-developed applications to validate readiness for production deployment
Analyze business and functional specifications to formulate a strategic approach for testing strategies and release management
Participate in the development and evaluation of technical specifications for APIs, encompassing customer-facing documentation for integration and testing purposes
Provide prompt and effective analysis and responses to client technical queries regarding API integration and production incidents as required
Effectively manage time spent on client support tickets
Exercise discernment and good judgement in determining when to escalate complex issues to senior team members
Generate defect tickets or new requirements as necessary in response to customer-related issues or requests
Communicate status of customer defects to client and coordinate any client defect fix verification testing
Contribute to development of internal API monitoring and support tools, utilizing scripting as needed
Knowledge and Experience
BS or higher with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
5+ years of experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans, and testing software applications
Minimum 3+ years of experience and demonstrated mastery in FIX protocol
Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation testing
Must have outstanding organizational skills and demonstrate experience handling multiple project deliverables with success
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate command in prioritization and reporting project status
Must have basic understanding of SQL
Must have basic understanding of at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
Knowledge of SQA and SDLC methodologies and practices
Experience with electronic trading client connectivity, Market Data Feeds, and VeriFIX a plus
Strong background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases
Ability to work in highly demanding, fast paced environment
Must be knowledgeable with Windows OS platforms and Office applications
Self-motivated, able to work and excel autonomously on job responsibilities
Desire to define and execute new, repeatable business processes

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
