Senior Android Engineer - Media

This role is based in New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

• Build products that maximize the reach and ROI of Patreon creators - bringing the right features to mobile to allow effective management of their business

• Engineer tools with high craft that maximize simplicity and power

• Advocate for patterns and practices that optimize for reliability and developer velocity

• Drive clarity and alignment on technical vision and direction

• Work with a fully cross functional team to define and deliver new product features

• Work closely with the Android team to build a best in class mobile experience

• Build a strong product-minded engineering culture by mentoring and guiding engineers

About You

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.

• Proficiency with the Kotlin programming language.

• Holds a high standard of quality and craft with an eye for UX and engineering detail

• A track record of building mobile products and components with attention to detail, high quality, and fluid performance

• Penchant for solving complex requirements with elegant and simple solutions

• Enthusiastic about building for creators
