What we are Looking for:

The Senior Analytics Manager - Operations is a unique and cross-functional role. The mission of the role is to support the Operations Leadership team with insights into current and future operations. The primary focus is to update the cross-functional executive leadership team on a bottoms-up Revenue and Gross Margin forecast for the current and upcoming five quarters; bridge between teams and departments when the forecasts are misaligned with our targets; and flag key risks and timelines for mitigation. A secondary focus is to complete efficiency improvement initiatives across teams within the Operations department and between Operations and other departments.

To be successful in this role, an individual must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a keen interest in numbers and process improvements, an ability to work independently, and an ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ownership of the weekly executive presentation covering the bottoms-up Revenue & Margin forecast for the current and upcoming 5 quarters.

  • Regularly extract updated data from Salesforce and align with updates from the Sales team regarding deals with high likelihood of closing.

  • Partner with other key stakeholders, such as Supply Chain, Production, Delivery and Data Operations to transform all data and inputs into a weekly analysis and report highlighting key updates and risks.

  • Function as the primary point of contact for any or questions related to the forecast

  • Act as a quarterback to achieve our current quarter revenue and margin projection in case of late quarter execution risk.

  • Confirm Revenue & Margin numbers of large projects in Salesforce, validate understanding with Accounting, flag any inconsistencies to Sales Operations and follow up on its resolution.

  • Identify process gaps in current Salesforce processes for new solutions.

  • Create Salesforce reports and dashboards to answer questions from Leadership.

  • Identify and execute on various efficiency improvement initiatives, including but not limited to closing process gaps between Sales and Operations or, creating new reporting tools for Operations Leadership

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical, quantitative or business preferred but not required

  • 5+ years equivalent work experience

  • Strong quantitative analytic skills with advanced Excel modeling skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Comfortability interacting with and influencing key stakeholders, across all levels in the organization

  • Ability to learn quickly and produce quality work under tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented personality, demanding high quality performance from self and colleagues

  • Ability to multi-task with willingness to take on wide variety of tasks, both exciting and sometimes routine

  • Project planning experience with ability to plan, prioritize, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience Energy Storage and or Solar Energy preferred

  • Understanding of basic finance & accounting principles is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus

Salary Range

$123,350.00 - $172,800.00
