About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant as part of the Strategy, Digital & Innovation (SDI) team. This role will design and create analysis and reports leveraged by the Digital and Payments leadership teams to support their respective missions.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and own metric reporting including related analyses to understand the drivers of metrics.

  • Enforce and establish best practices related to data quality and governance.

  • Develop ad-hoc reporting to address specific business questions or concerns.

  • Collaborate with Digital and Payments Product and Strategy teams to understand the drivers of their business and how they can leverage data to drive actions.

  • Create effective and accurate reports and dashboards to facilitate broad understanding of business outcomes and drivers.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of SQL and Excel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Prior experience in digital analytics, data within financial services and ideally understanding of banking products and services, including retail banking and commercial banking

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Python or R.), data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI), Business process modeling software (Visio), and project management tools (Jira)

  • Prior experience conducting workflow analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis to streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies

  • Superior problem-solving skills with ability to break down issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, write concise reports, and facilitate meetings and workshops

  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and foster consensus

  • Effective communication with stakeholders - ability to present analysis findings, recommendations, and project updates in clear and compelling formats, tailored to the needs of different audiences

Job Expectations:

  • Candidate must be willing to work on site at 401 S. Tryon in Charlotte, NC. No other locations will be considered.
