Position summary

T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Analysts, Technical located in Overland Park, KS will formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs.

• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system;

• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements;

• Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures;

• Direct software programming and development of documentation; and

• Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects.

Skill requirements:

Requires experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing Java, J2EE code, Springboot framework, and systems architecture to design and document complex digital APIs on cloud platform.

• Working with PCF (Cloud Foundry) and TKE (Kubernetes).

• Analyzing complex telecommunications business processes in line with cross-functional business units and provide solutions to integrate systems based on SOAP and REST protocols.

• Analyzing and debugging logs extracted from Splunk, Kibana, and Linux to resolve issues discovered in production or non-production environments and documenting root cause analysis to evaluate existence of requirement gaps or coding issues.

• Decomposing larger initiatives into prioritized Features and User Stories in Jira Align and Jira. Defining Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done for each user story in line with scrum teams.

• Liaising with SMEs to build Roadmap for the DevOps team and documenting issue log in Jira to archive issues and resolutions.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
