Senior Analyst, US Wireless Services

We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our research & analysis team based in NYC!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the US Wireless Services market as the role would be within GlobalData's Technology team that analyses the global market for technology and telecoms products & services worldwide. Through our intelligence center, our team delivers insight data, market sizing & forecasts, market share information, news, and strategic reports to most of the leading players in the industry!

• Please note, the role is not related to data science and doesn't encompass data scientist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching and writing strategic reports and analysis on US wireless service events and related topics for our syndicated subscribers.

• Keeping on top of the latest competitive moves and developments in the US wireless services market, including emerging technologies and players.

• Fostering good relationships with key US wireless service providers, as well as the vendors serving them.

• Writing intelligence reports and updating company assessments on market moves and market players.

• Both responding to client queries via email and advising clients via webinar, telephone, and face-to-face briefings.

• Contributing to consulting projects and custom research.

• Supporting our sales teams to engage current and prospective clients.

• Promoting GlobalData's brand by providing commentary to journalists and speaking at conferences.

• Peer reviewing colleagues' reports with an eye toward helping fine-tune the analysis and presentation.

What we are Looking for:

Essential:

• Experience covering US wireless services market and its key players is REQUIRED.

• Interest in wireless technology and related innovations that are applicable to this market

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• The ability to collect and consider diverse sources of data and information to create compelling analysis

• The adaptability to maintain a steady research cadence while handling queries or market developments as they arise

• A helpful, collaborative team player

• Curiosity and willingness to learn about emerging technologies

Desirable:

• Experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, or social research

• Experience in working in the US wireless services market
