Job Description The Senior Tax Analyst will join the Corporate Tax Department and play an important role within the Domestic Tax Operations team. This position will primarily be responsible for supporting the income tax compliance and tax provision for AbbVies domestic operations. In addition, the Senior Tax Analyst will assist with complex projects and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities: Preparation of US compliance and provision work, including preparation of Forms 1120 and accompanying statements, tax computations such as tax credits, Schedule M-3 adjustments, reclasses, eliminations, and supporting schedules and documentation. Prepare domestic aspects of the US GAAP tax provision, analysis of tax accounts and reserves, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Collaborate with tax team members and business team members to determine tax impacts of changing business operations.

Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills through collaboration with tax team members, escalation of issues appropriately, and sharing results with team members and leadership. Monitor changes in U.S. tax legislation. Quantify and model the impact of tax planning strategies and legislative and regulatory developments.

Demonstrate ability to research tax issues, and be proficient in interpreting and applying tax laws, regulations and cases to specific transactions and factual situations. Assist with special projects, including planning initiatives, process improvements, IDR responses and other audit support, and tax technology implementation. Qualifications Minimum of three years related experience.

Public Accounting or Fortune 500 Corporate Tax experience preferred. Large corporate multinational tax experience preferred, but not required. B.A./B.S. in Accounting/Finance required.

CPA and/or MST a plus, but not required. Experience using data analytics systems (i.e., Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI etc.) a plus, but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Corptax experience preferred, but not required. Longview/other tax provision software experience preferred, but not required. Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:

Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimatelypay more orless than the posted range.
