Supports the Strategic Sourcing team to negotiate and manage product costs, source suppliers, and manage supplier relationships to meet Tiffany & Co.'s capacity and margin requirements. Provides input and analysis to support the development and onboarding of jewelry manufacturers.
Key Accountabilities
Sourcing
Leads Make vs. Buy supplier selection activities based on detailed knowledge of supplier capabilities, performance history, etc.
Negotiates and manages product costs throughout development and full lifecycle for domestic supplier base across all product categories.
Researches and sources new suppliers for maximum cost, capability, and capacity optimization.
Works with team members to seek out cost reduction and process improvement opportunities - engages suppliers in the process.
Manages supplier relationship and coordinates with cross-functional teams on quality, payment, development, and logistical topics.
Maintains capability matrix and knowledge of supplier base.
Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Metrics and Analysis
Leads the Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) process to continuously evaluate supply base and identify additions/phase-outs, analyzes results, and makes recommendations.
Analyzes and shares consolidated summary of new product costs by collection with Merchandising team.
Creates analysis of supplier business spend and shares recommendations with manager to support business goals.
Proactively seeks out savings opportunities and conducts savings and cost avoidance analysis to achieve annual goals.
Creates up to date supplier market analysis, category analysis and category risk analysis.
Develops and maintains supplier scorecard and leads key business conversations with suppliers.
Performs ad hoc supplier risk monitoring.

Identifies, plans and leads sourcing projects that drive process or cost improvements by engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources.
Leads other ad hoc projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated experience leading category management or strategic sourcing initiatives
Advanced MS Office computer skills - specifically Excel and Access
Strong organizational, verbal communication, writing and negotiation skills
Problem-solving and analytics skills, strong work ethic
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
Willing to work flexible hours to support deliverables and multiple priorities
Project management experience in a leadership capacity
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
High-end jewelry manufacturing experience
Conversational communication skills in a second language
Professional qualification / certification from related professional body, (ISM - CPM / CPSM, APICS)
The hiring range for this position ranges from $95,000 - $110,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
