Prominent company in a NW suburb of Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Analyst to provide a variety of analyses for the marketing, finance, operations and other teams. You will have an opportunity to work in an analytics COE with various stakeholders around the company to produce analysis, insights and visualizations. Use your business experience (post academia) to enhance decision making, improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue and profitability for the company.

NOTE: candidates MUST have at least 5 years of business analytics experience post academia.

Responsibilities of the Senior Analyst:
--Extract and transform raw data. Perform analysis related to pricing, customer churn, KPI's, measurement of process improvements, customer lifetime value, call center effectiveness, financial reporting and more.
--Automate reporting.
--Develop scorecards, dashboards and other visualizations.
--Respond to ad hoc analysis by meeting with stakeholders to understand the business need, develop the scope and needed resources, produce analysis, develop insights and deliver the solution.
--Develop tools, applications and databases for partner teams to enhance decision making.

Qualifications of the Senior Analyst:
--Minimum 5 years of hands-on business analysis (post-academia) supporting either finance, marketing, operations or other teams.
--Minimum bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, predictive analytics, economics, operations research or other). Master's degree desired.
--Full time business based experience using SQL and Excel. Expertise using either R, SAS or Python.
--Expertise using visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
--Minimum of 5 years of project experience solving business problems using large datasets and performing analysis.
--Expert ability to partner with stakeholders, break down business problems and derive analytically driven solutions.

Job Summary The senior accountant is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze and own financial information and related projects. Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and schedules and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are in place or communicated when not. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. * Timely, accurately and appropriately record and analyze revenues and expenses associated with assigned locations and account. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions * General office environment with intensive computer work and extended use of the computer keyboard and mouse.
