Job Summary

Analyze, develop, plan, maintain and help deploy server and network infrastructure of medium to high complexity. Manage and monitor system backups. Execute, document and support hardware and system backups, while maintaining a high degree of personal productivity.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generally, works under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager.

  • Will work with less detailed specification than the Service Delivery Analyst.

  • Most work will tend toward moderate or major projects although some maintenance activities can still be expected. The candidate has a broad understanding of the complexities of service delivery.

  • At all times, works with a sense of urgency and commitment to understand client business requirements

  • Assist in the development of alternate technical solutions

  • Assist in implementation of client selected solutions requiring Information Services expertise and as prescribed by the Global Services Engineering team.

  • Candidate is expected to perform informal internal or external department training.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.

  • Four to six years' experience in the required technologies or related experience and training.

  • Minimum 1 year's work experience in a related role.

Skills and Abilities

  • Professional IT Certifications, such as: A+, Microsoft MCITP, MCSA, or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA or JunOS a plus.

  • Familiarity of Microsoft Server Operating Systems and server technologies like DHCP, DNS, etc.

  • Additional Key Competencies include Problem-Solving and Creating a trusting environment, and solid communications skills
