Position: Senior Analyst, RM Product Strategy Development and Analytics
The Senior Analyst, RM Product Strategy Development and Analytics position is responsible for managing the analysis and implementation of strategic products and initiatives.
This is a data intensive position that will require strong analytical skills, maintaining a fluid communication with non-technical users, and keeping a deep understanding of the commercial enterprise. Primary areas of focus will be developing strategic analysis to shape product strategy from ideation to market launch, as well as designing, developing and maintaining industry-leading reports and metrics. This position will require using a mixture of programming and analytical tools such as SAS and SQL, design and develop cutting edge algorithms to improve Revenue Management decision making throughout the organization.
Identify and understand Revenue Management opportunities and propose and execute analytical solutions that are time and cost effective.
Help users leverage business intelligence tools such as SQL, Hyperion/Brio, SAS, Excel, and Tableau to find trends and opportunities to optimize RM performance.
Communicate about technical analysis and concepts to a non-technical business audience.
Learn pertinent skills to perform strategic analysis or propose solutions relevant to the project in hand.
Liaison between cross divisional teams and the Product Strategy team.
Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Major in Business, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation Science, or related quantitative discipline.
At least 18 months of work experience.
Master's Degree in the above disciplines plus a minimum of 3 years work experience preferred.
Thorough and proven understanding of market, financial, and economic analysis methods.
Must be skilled with spreadsheet analysis and must have experience building quantitative analysis models in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in SAS, SQL or Hyperion/Brio required.
Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional divisions within Delta.
