What you'll be doing...
Help us optimize Verizon purchases for greater than five hundred millions of 3rd Party Access Transport by joining Carrier Management as a member of the Data Integrity & Disconnect Team. The group is responsible for optimizing Domestic 3rd Party Access expense through identification and disconnects of stranded access circuits. The Project Manager will identify and vet potential disconnects opportunities and then distributes work activity across the various Disconnect Team resources. These tasks require a solid understanding of access circuit design plus strong analytical skills. Further, you will serve as owner of the 4 Way Match IT tools that enables Verizon to obtain, track, and validate circuit data across multiple billing and provisioning systems. Daily tasks will contribute towards a 2019 Telco Savings target of fourteen point six million.
Create and run Hyperion data queries to identify new potential stranded access disconnect opportunities.
Prioritize, assign, and monitor workload for two separate disconnect teams, balancing circuit assignments across the teams to meet monthly savings objectives.
Create and submit numerous weekly/monthly reports including: actual achieved cost savings, potential future savings opportunities, workload distribution, individual performance, and cost benefit analysis
Manage SOW, Purchase Order, and Invoicing for third-party offshore vendor, tracking activity and fees.
Serve as Key Point of Contact (POC) for the Four Way Match tool to include:
Create Business Requirement for enhancements and fixes;
Request and manage capital funding;
Support user acceptance testing for system releases;
Serve as liaison between IT and the 4WM user community, reporting and tracking issues to closure.
What we're looking for...
You have good people skills, analytics, and the ability to project manage multiple initiatives, while serving as the primary contact to IT and users for a highly visible auditing tool which serves as a key resource for circuit and cost information to multiple teams across Verizon.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree, in Business, Finance, or Telecommunication or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Even better if you have:
Three or more years of Project Management and relevant work experience in the Telecom industry, with a preference for Provisioning experience.
Experience with Verizon Business in a circuit provisioning or access management role.
Knowledge of 3rd Party Telco Vendor billing and Verizon Business Provisioning systems.
Experience with Circuit Design, Network Engineering, and Third-party Order (ASR) processing.
Knowledge of and experience working with 3rd party telco Vendor billing and Verizon Network Systems & Applications, including VERIFY, 4WM, eASR, CAMEO, CLR, COMS, F&E, BGW, TCOMS, and Provisioning Controller (PC).
