Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will generate standard and custom financial and demographic reports. They will verify data and maintain accurate system information.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field is required.

  • Demonstrated a proven ability to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Progressive experience working as part of a team and as an individual.

  • At least 3 5 years of experience working as a financial, budget or business analyst is required.

  • Prior healthcare industry experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, conditional statements, and v-lookups required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand internal and external financial reports to develop meaningful analysis for leadership.

  • The ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of business professionals at all levels of the organization, including management, physicians, operations, and business development.

  • The ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines effectively.

  • Must have a strong attention to detail.

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of files and reports.

Preferred:

  • A Master s degree is preferred.

  • Prior knowledge of industry benchmarking data (MGMA, AMGA, etc.) and CMS physician coding/billing/wRVU guidelines is preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze financial reports (Tax Returns, W-2s, etc.) and raw data to develop detailed business plans/budgets that accurately project the financial impact of business decisions.

  • Work with non-academic medical group on tracking, calculating and reviewing quarterly physician compensation data.

  • Work with the academic medical group on tracking, calculating and reviewing compensation reconciliations and reviews.

  • Responsible for maintaining workflows related, but not limited to: position control, physician compensation, physician payroll processing, and dimension maintenance.

  • Produces complex and multi-layered analyses and is able to interpret findings for leadership.

  • Discreet handling of confidential information.
