Avis Budget Group is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Systems Analyst. We are deploying the latest cloud-based financial applications and transitioning our Financial Systems team to become the global center of expertise for best-in-class financial systems support. We are looking for professionals with the right mix of technical and analytical skills, problem solving ability and financial systems experience to join our team.
The impact you'll make:
The Senior Systems Analyst will be a key member of the Financial Systems team, providing end user support and training, working on enhancement projects and supporting application deployment in international markets. This role represents a great opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team while gaining experience working with the latest cloud-based financial applications from Oracle and other vendors.
What you'll do:
Research issues, identify and test solutions, and communicate to end users
Monitor integration performance and escalate identified issues
Coordinate with IT and third-party support specialists as necessary to support application performance
Coordinate quarterly upgrade regression testing cycles
Develop and document business solution specifications
Develop and maintain support guides
Develop and deliver training to end users
Act as the point of contact for application security related issues
Assess and monitor role design for segregation of duties considerations
Monitor and maintain license usage and contract renewals
Prepare reports, presentations and analysis to communicate selected data points, such as Key Performance Indicators
Act as a mentor to more junior members of the team
This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree required
At least 3 years' experience implementing or supporting Oracle Fusion or Oracle EBS Financial applications
Experience with account reconciliation software is a plus
Experience with lease accounting software is a plus
Skills and abilities you should have:
Solid PC skills including strong proficiency in Excel is required
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a plus
Experience with the following Oracle modules a plus General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and/or Oracle Projects
Experience with Oracle Security, User Creation & Maintenance, Role Creation & Maintenance a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Superior problem solving skills - must be resourceful and creative with solutions
Skilled in building trusted relationships across multiple teams and geographies
Experienced in balancing competing business priorities
You should have a positive attitude, be detail oriented, organized, comfortable communicating at all levels in a team environment, able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Travel may be occasionally required for training events or conferences.
