THIS JOB IS UNDER REVIEW BY TOTAL COMPENSATION AND AS A RESULT THE FLSA STATUS MAY CHANGE. Collects data and provides analyses for a broad array of healthcare redesign issues across disciplines and functional areas.

Has sole responsibility for some small to medium size analytical projects. Works under limited supervision. May be dedicated to a single department or business unit.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assists in the identification of key healthcare redesign business issues and the design of analytic approaches.

Conducts research on identified key healthcare redesign business issues.

Provides oversight and direction to analysts and assigned components of project work.

Evaluates and distills analyses conducted by other departments and/or outside consultants.

Assists in developing and utilizing data gathering tools, such as surveys/questionnaires, work sampling, financial modeling, and/or interview questions, to ensure that appropriate quantitative and qualitative data is gathered for the analyses.

Extracts data for analysis and interpretation.

Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad array of issues across disciplines, projects and functional areas.

Structures and executes analysis independently.

Prepares preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams, clients, and/or department management.

Recommends suggested action steps based on the analytic results.

Prepares reports synthesizing analytical results, highlighting implications of findings.

Follows through any further actions based on the results using sound business judgment.

Assists in the development of project proposals, recommendations, implementation plans, communication packages, performance measurement tools, and training materials related to the assigned projects.

Contributes to practice development and department administration including, recruiting, debriefing on training, and developing thought pieces on topics like change management.

May provide input to performance reviews of others in department.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of related analytical and/or consulting experience required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, operations research, public health administration or other related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

N/A.

Additional Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to identify issues and propose methodological solutions; synthesizes analyses well, highlights implications of findings.

Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.

Possesses technical expertise in some areas.

Must demonstrate effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, and presentation.

Proficient with PC applications including spreadsheet, word processing, and graphics packages.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years of related analytical and/or consulting experience healthcare experience preferred.

Master's degree preferred.

Previous related quantitative/qualitative analytical or consulting experience preferred (3+ years).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate), proficiency in Access (basic/intermediate) preferred.

Demonstrated ability to identify issues, synthesize analyses, highlight implication of findings.

Effective communication and presentation skills and experience supporting senior leaders preferred.

East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Collateral Analyst for our Asset Based Lending team. This role will report to the SVP, Manager of Asset Based Lending. Responsibilities * Maintain electronic folders in department share drive that includes: aging files, Borrower Based Review (BBR) files, Funding Folder which includes Borrowing Based Certificate (BBC) template, loan doc, loan approval (CCR) and correspondences. * Upon receipt of reports and BBC, post collateral value into loan system, update ticklers in Ontrack, pull bank statements, save files in share drive and send them to Synergy for imaging. * Determine the segment based on guidelines, requests for sample of invoices and proof of shipments. * Perform Account Receivable Verification * Run Experian reports for days beyond terms (DBT) for borrower and debtors with high concentrations. * Update collateral value after completion of BBR (if applicable) * Review AR, AP aging, inventory reports and bank statements. Prepare Borrowing Base Review (BBR) and Borrowing Base Review Issue page that identifies unfavorable collateral information, changes to trends, issues to determine the effect upon the bank's collateral, exceptions to EWB standards and unique features due to unique structure. * Based on the review, make decision to raise flags in related to the credit to Risk Manager, Relationship Manager (RM) and Credit Supervision. * Distribute BBR and BBR issue page. If flag is raised, tracking RM responses and follow up on approvals by Credit Supervisor. * Meet prospect or existing borrowers at RM or Credit Supervision's request. Explain and train borrower to prepare BBC package and how to calculate borrowing base. * Be flexible in accommodating the schedules of RM's and Loan Servicing in the process of funding new loans and renewing existing facilities when meeting mandatory deadlines is critical. * Participate in collateral exams from time to time to gain knowledge of possible fraudulent reporting. * Upon review of collateral exam update the collateral review to reflect changes in account debtor credit terms, AR ineligibles, slow moving inventory and any other issues. * Prepare 'Temporary Over-advance Acknowledge Form' as necessary and follow for executed copy. * For new ABL loans, setup new loan files, obtain latest reports and review and calculate borrowing base. Prepare BBC template and Funding BBC. Review terms related to borrowing base, eligible account sand inventory in Business Loan Agreement to ensure that the approved CCR are in agreement. * For modification or renewal on existing line, revise BBC template and prepare funding BBC if applicable. Review terms related to borrowing base, eligible account sand inventory in Business Loan Agreement to ensure that the approved CCR are in agreement. * Complete understanding of regulatory compliance regarding commercial lending. * Train junior team members in adherence with ABL guidelines and assist with queries as necessary. * Perform Liquidation Analysis according to bank guidelines. * Special projects as assigned.
