Where you fit:
Springbrook Software is looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This individual contributor will report to the Senior Manager, Strategy and FP&A. The Senior Analyst will be a key player in driving FP&A activities with particular focus on financial and operational metric reporting, tracking and reporting bookings and sales quota attainment, performing budget versus actual analysis, and supporting a variety of ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making processes.
In this role you will collaborate with business leaders, and work cross functionally with peers in the accounting, sales, and sales operations teams. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate attention to detail, and strong financial analysis, reporting, and modeling skills. As a Senior Analyst, you will be self-motivated to own your work product and meet deadlines within a supportive, but fast-paced and high-achieving environment. Impeccable character, integrity, and work ethic are critical for success.
Candidates will report to the office in American Fork, UT, but consideration will be given for those who would prefer a hybrid (onsite/remote) work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial and operational KPI metrics, including those focused on Sales Bookings, Operational Metrics, and Financial Performance
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes
Update and maintain financial forecast data in Adaptive Planning
Ongoing analysis
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Conduct analyses of budgeted financial performance against actual results
Identify key drivers of variances and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making
Support preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Company management
Work cross functionally as a business partner to support departmental leadership in reporting, analysis, and executing financial initiatives
Meet all assigned deadlines and provide prompt responses to internal and external inquiries
Assist in special and ad-hoc projects and requests as needed
Maintain general awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policies
Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team
Required Qualifications:
5 years financial planning & analysis or other similar experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance
Experience relevant to financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
Ability to prepare and analyze various datasets and transform general ledger data for relevant analysis
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Highly proficient in Microsoft products, especially Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Good understanding of accounting principles and their application
Ability to adhere to Springbrook company policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality policies
Preferred Qualifications:
SaaS experience
Experience with Adaptive Planning
Experience with Power BI
Experience working with sales teams and bookings
Experience with Sage Intacct
