The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis is a critical position responsible for driving financial planning and analysis activities within Ferrara Candy Company (FCC). This highly visible role will be responsible for day-to-day FP&A activities, create and support reporting and presentations to the Senior Leadership Team, Committees and Board as well as driving best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities. This position will interface with finance and cross-functional contacts across the broader organization in support of these responsibilities. The Senior Analyst reports to the Director of Corporate FP&A.
Ways you will make a difference
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drive and support monthly reporting and analysis of financial results to FCC leadership including preparation of monthly operating review materials, quarterly lender call materials, annual incentive and business metrics tracking, and other ad hoc reporting
Support forecasting, planning, and analysis modeling and processes including strategic planning
Support to and strict collaboration/exposure with the FP&A team in preparation of financial and business presentations to Top Executive, Committees and Board
Prepare cross-functional reporting and analysis, participate in meetings to review performance with functional owners to contribute to financial performance and growth
Develop routines, business reviews and cross-functional alignment processes
Drive best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities in key FP&A areas of responsibility including:
Reporting, forecasting, and analysis
Monthly financial reporting and analysis
Profitability modeling and analysis
Lead and/or provide support for strategic projects and initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

Experiences that will support your success
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience
Good P&L fundamentals (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Income Statement)
Heavy exposure to financial reporting and analysis (experience in the CPG industry is preferred)
SAP and financial planning tools experience (Oracle EPM - EPBCS) is a plus
