Job Description:

SUMMARY: Own the reporting and analysis activity assigned by the Product Category Director to contribute to effective decision-making by the business.

Track financial results of the business through timely and accurate reporting and analysis. Highlight key trends and issues and make recommendations to the Business Unit. Prepare the monthly forecast estimate, quarterly projection, annual operating plan, and long-range plan.

Supports internal control processes and complete appropriate SOX requirements. Perform various activities as part of the monthly/quarter close. Understand complex raw material markets as they relate to products, including understanding the impact and timing of market movements on price and cost.

Interface with other departments in matrix organization to manage volume, cost, and supply chain knowledge/questions. Partner with category management to effectively plan, forecast, and monitor SG&A and Marketing expenses. Establish/maintain below the line accrual rates.


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. MBA a Plus.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance

Computer Skills:
Requires excellent

Microsoft Excel skills, including generating spreadsheets, word processing and power point templates. Experience with SAP Financial applications, SAP Manufacturing/Costing applications, and Tyson Financial Reporting applications preferred.

Special Skills:
Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and system skills.

Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders. Basic knowledge of all business cycles, systems and processes that impact Sales and Operations (Order to Cash, Demand Planning, Poultry & Prepared Plant Operations, and Purchase to Pay, Shared Services and Sales Operations).

Travel: 5 or fewer domestic trips per year.

Demonstrates extensive-level abilities with, and a proven record of success in: * Analyzing of incidents, attribution of incidents to threat types and intrusion sets, extraction of intelligence from incident data and malicious code, and Level 3 incident response support; * Identifying, prioritizing and reporting on external cyber threats relevant to an organization's industry, geographic and technological footprint; * Generating, consuming and exploiting tactical and operational threat intelligence to protect against cyber threats; * Reporting findings to multiple levels of management across cultural and geographic boundaries, as well as functional teams impacted by cyber threats; * Seeking new, and validating existing, sources of threat intelligence; * Providing tactical, operational and strategic recommendations for preventative controls to other security organizations based upon incident response findings and trends in realized threat activity; and, * Coordinating and executing changes to existing instrumentation to better facilitate intelligence collection and utilization goals, applying skills like systems integration, tailored tool development, and informal project management.
