Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst on the Global BlackLine team which is part of the Finance Systems & Technology Organization. This position is responsible for leading deployments of various modules in Global BlackLine application. The primary location for this role would preferably be in New Brunswick, NJ, however, open to other US based J&J locations for candidates with strong qualifications.

The Senior Analyst, Finance Technology Solutions will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding the scope of the BlackLine tool through deployments as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the ongoing deployments of BlackLine Journals and the expansion of capabilities through subledger templates

  • Support the BlackLine Run Team with ongoing expansion and enhancement

  • Ensure that the BlackLine module deployments are aligned with CIA and SOX requirements

  • Support the expansion to the Intercompany Hub and Tasks modules that will be deployed in support of the Close, Consolidations and External Reporting workstream which is part of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) finance transformation projects

  • Partner with BlackLine to ensure all deployments are completed and issue resolution meets business requirements

  • Partner across functions and levels with Corporate Business Solutions (CBT), Technical Services (TS), Global and Local Compliance teams, Global Services, and Business Unit Finance (BUF) teams as to deploy the various BlackLine modules throughout Finance globally

  • Special Projects as necessary

The Senior Analyst Global BlackLine Deployments must be a great teammate, skilled in building relationships with global business partners of all levels and embracing diversity in delivering successful communications and processes. He/she must also encourage others to embrace and manage process change in a positive and effective way.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar business discipline required

  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, PMP) a plus.

  • A minimum of 3 years of Accounting or Finance experience is required

  • Strong teamwork skills are required

  • Ability to use technology to effectively work in a Global role is required

  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills are required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)

  • Experience with BlackLine application is preferred

  • Experience with SAP, SAP Central Finance, and/or JDE ERP systems and processes are preferred

  • Demonstration of Planning, Prioritization and Project Management skills are critical to success and highly preferred

  • This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 5% travel

The SFA will be responsible for executing the SoX 404 Audit Program for assigned J&J Companies as well as conducting risk-based audits at various J&J Affiliates as assigned. When not assigned to audits or as timing allows, the SFA will also be expected to participate and/or lead ancillary project teams to assist with departmental goals and objectives aimed at improving audit operations and customer service. Key responsibilities include: * Perform audit planning considering the control risk, audit scope and objectives, and time parameters established. * Engage with Department and/or Company management responsible for the area under review to discuss the audit scope and coordination requirements. * Partner with the Audit Team Coordinator or lead the team in the preparation of the audit. * Conduct audits via interviews and paper trail investigations as required, including the completion of work papers and the summarization of findings and observation in accordance with Department standards and model audit program steps. * Review recommendations with the audit manager, team coordinator, and internal customers throughout the audit. * Participate in formal interim and final meetings to discuss and finalize findings and recommendations. * Other audit activities include reviewing previous audit reports and work papers, company files, technical research sources, financial reports and audit approaches to ensure a thorough familiarity with the audit areas assigned and determine the audit approach to be used. * Perform special projects, including technical research studies, development of internal control education materials, and facilitating formal training sessions for audit staff and internal clients. * Participate on specialized audits led by our Compliance Audit & Investigations (CA&I) Group when appropriate. Qualifications * A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline. * A minimum of 3 years of professional working experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Auditing is required. * Sarbanes Oxley experience is preferred. * CIA, CPA, CMA, CFA or CISA is preferred. * Fluency in multiple languages is preferred. * Must possess excellent analytical and technical skills (e.g. Accounting, Excel). * Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Must possess the ability to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously. * Must possess the ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions. * This position requires travel up to 40% (may include domestic and international travel) * This position is based in New Brunswick, NJ.
